This just makes me smile!
For Valentine's Day, my husband and I went shopping together. He got a great deal on a new golf club, and then we had a very nice lunch at Biaggi's. Yum - Italian!
I had Spaghetti al Erbe and spinach salad -- it was so fresh! He had a sausage panini and lobster chowder. Then, we went shopping for me. I took him to a favorite antique store to pick up a picture I saw there a couple of weeks ago and couldn't get out of my head:
Even Dennis loved it! Now, that's saying something! (Shown here with Suzanne's lovely paper wreath.)
Here's a close-up of some of the ladies. The caption says "May Company 1926" -- it was some kind of annual event, I gather. I need to research it!
My son had to do a double take when he saw it -- he said he at first thought they were "popes"! I can see that -- the funny hats, the dresses rather like robes. (But not the boas!)
Oh my goodness...I love this like crazy. It makes me SO HAPPY!
After that purchase, we went to a French bakery for bread and dessert, and then home. I cooked my men their favorite lasagna dinner. It was a lovely day! I hope yours was, as well.
It's the last day of One World, One Heart! If you haven't already entered my giveaways, you have until 11:59 PM MT to do so. Winner announced tomorrow!
