Junkin' Finds

Yay, I'm totally excited about finally, finally joining in with Linda's Junkin Finds Friday (a day late!)  Here are some things I picked up at an estate sale on Thursday:
A sweet little lamb child's suitacase, or perhaps a doll case -- just perfect for Spring, don't you think?  Inside...
a precious star design! I don't know if you can see how the front and sides have a fun, pale red paper design.  Next to -- a pile of stiff, sheer vintage fabric (chiffon?) in a multitude of colors for me to play with!
Speaking of old fabric: here's a little pile of ticking and feedsack...
Don't laugh, but one of the things I was most excited about were these two old pins attached to one of the fabrics!  I've always wanted some of these old pins!
I also grabbed this old hat; I have in mind to use it for an upcoming Easter swap project!
See this pile of Wright's trims?  I got it all at the thrift store last week; it was in a big bag and there were 15 reels of it -- new old stock!
Some of the rolls are sort of dirty, but, I don't know if you can tell from the photos, all the lace and trim are wrapped in plastic so they stayed clean!  I am going to have fun making up little packs of trim from these to share!

I hope you liked looking at my junkin' finds!  I'm happily linking up here:

laurie,
You and I would be trouble together. Estate sales and other forms of junkin are my favorite form of entertainment. I can't believe your finds...that lamb suitcase is fantastic and I am dazzled by the trim!

Wowza!

Oh I love that hat. It looks good enough to eat. How pretty! I used to wear hats to church when I was in high school. Rarely wear them anymore though I still do love them.
