What made my jaw drop

These were peeking out of one of the boxes Linda Sue sent:

When I opened them up, I gasped!

How well you know me, Linda Sue!  How you knew these would delight me!

Pages and pages of it...I'm in vintage lace HEAVEN!

I will be sharing this!  After I've taken some time to enjoy it all in the books, I will be removing the lace!

And, I celebrated a sale in my own shop by buying something from Linda Sue's:

She makes needle felting look so easy!

I am so pleased to have this colorful inspiration at my side when I sew!

Oh my gosh! Vintage Lace Heaven! :o)
Can you imagine how much time it took to put those books together? Now everything is just pictures, but how wonderful to be able to touch and feel, like that! :o)

Laurie, I KNOW! The books belonged to my friend's mother who was a teacher , very frugal, never threw anything away. I thought that I would dismantel the books and use the lace bits but could not bring myself to do it, I am not talented the way that you are. I know that you will use them well! You are just swell that way...Cheers, Miss Etsy Queen...thanks for the tips!
