O Christmas tree

Have I mentioned I did something a little different with my Christmas tree this year? Okay -- a lot different.  I  wanted to get the tree up early but family illnesses around Thanksgiving put a damper on those plans.  So I decided to put up a MUCH MORE SIMPLE tree, using only -- and all -- of my precious and delicate vintage glass ornaments.  (Except the tiny ones...which are on the little silver tree in the dining room.)
I don't know about you, but I never get tired of seeing everyone's trees when they post them on their blog, or on Facebook, as so many have been doing this past week.  So, here's my contribution to the parade of trees!

"New" this year: this tree topper that I bought at Rue de Noel last week.  I love it!
I can't wait to see your trees!

Laurie, your tree is beautiful! I have had my tree up for several days but no ornaments hung. That is on today's list.

Beautiful! The guys are out getting our tree this morning! Probably won't decorate it til tomorrow, since Lizzie has a basketball game this afternoon. (She's the team manager, since she's still in her cast.)
It is so pretty! I love all the vintage glass ornaments! Oh Christmas trees make me very happy!

I love all the pretty shiny glass ornaments on your tree. I'm like you, I love seeing the pictures that everyone is sharing of their tree. I need to post a photo of mine.
