At it again...
So, you remember my heart creation, right? I thought I'd finished but apparently I hadn't!
I had this beautiful rosette that was a gift from my friend Linda. As I was going through my office/craft room last weekend I happened upon it and realized it needed its own place on the assemblage.
So I added another row at the bottom!
I stitched all this on in record time because I was so excited to be finished.
I added the two incheys I made for the swap, which I hadn't found a place for in the last go around.
Underneath it some layers of fabrics and doilies; in the corner, a lace embellishment.
I used some of my favorite French ribbon at the bottom, and some pale green velvet rick rack to balance out the greens elsewhere on the piece.
(sorry for the shadows...)
More buttons, and some fancy stitches to complete it.
The last thing I need to do is figure out how I want to hang/bind it at the top.
I'm excited to finish that step and photograph it in the sunshine for you.
It's the never-ending project!
