More Valentine love

My Valentine in 1998:
and now:
That's my son, Ben.  He's 14, going on 15 now.  He'll make someone a special Valentine, some day!
I gave him some chocolate to mark the day; he's a Peanuts fan (which you probably already figured out, since we have a Beagle, named Snoopy!)

He is also a big fan of the TV series, House, so I bought him this fabulous ACEO by the Etsian Black Friday Studios.  He LOVED it!
I received some more wonderful mail that made me so happy -- like this wonderful Valentine handmade for me by Tami!
This is not the first time I've enjoyed her extra-special touches -- like the beads sewn into heart-shaped lace!
I received this gorgeous creation from Lorraine -- she is SO talented!
My favorite element on her card is the row of sweet birds!
Lorraine sent goodies -- look at these HOMEMADE MARSHMALLOWS!  Oh my goodness, they are as delicious as they are beautiful!  It was so thoughtful of Lorraine to share these with me, and we are enjoying every bite!
Her gift included these treats, too -- candy, and then that is a pair of cute, heart-covered socks; decorating the socks is a brooch made from that sweet silver bird that Lorraine had used on her ornaments in the Valentine Ornament Swap -- and I had so admired it!  I'm so happy to have one of my own now!  I am having a great week -- how about you?

your cards and gifts are very pretty and look good-yum. But it must be hard to beat the 14 year old valentine.

Laurie, I enjoyed this Valentine post so much. Ben is a very handsome young man. It's easy to see how he has been the light and love in your life. What a gift and I know he appreciates and loves his mom! Thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures.
