Quilts, and what's new in my shop

I found a couple of great quilts at thrift stores lately -- wanna see?

Amazingly, this one is all done by hand!

 Lots of fun, old fabrics...

It's actually just a quilt top, patched together and sewn onto a lining, and hasn't been quilted yet.  I smell another project!

This is a sweet baby quilt, made with blue squares and embroidered baby animals...

It's very well-worn, and I think I'm going to put it in my shop as a shabby quilt!

Okay, so this is not a quilt -- but how cute is this knitting kitty?

It reminds me of all my friends who make those needles dance -- especially at this time of the year, when we're all in need of toasty-warm accessories!

I love the baby quilt. How can you resist embroidered little animals, I mean really.

What really sweet discoveries. Quilts have such stories to tell, makes you imagine all the little histories of each piece of fabric. I love your treasures.

Beautiful quilts! I have one almost like the baby quilt but mine's yellow. I think it's even the same pattern! Mine was made by my mom's church ladies when I was a baby. Mine's pretty shabby too!!!
