You couldn't have asked for a better group of friends, old and new, at
Birdsong Two!

When my traveling buddy Suzanne arrived at my house, she'd brought us a dozen beautifully-colored eggs from her hen house!
I have been enjoying them ever since!

Suzanne with her gorgeous matchbox swap |
Suzanne always comes bearing gifts, like the chippy candle holder/centerpiece above, and the lovely teal linen. The adorable bird candles are from another of my Peeps: Rebecca.
Tami gifted me this lovely vintage creamer, with its monogram "L" in silver paint, when we met up for antiquing in Kansas City the day before the event.

She filled it with fun items to in the bird theme -- can you see that beautiful mother-of-pearl, bird-shaped button at the bottom of the photo?
Tami also made the wonderful bird pendant on the right, while the lovely bird pendant on the left was a gift for attendees from
Beth.
Beth also gave me the special buttons, above!

Cami brought me something from Canton, since she knew I'd had to cancel my trip in March: two "J" monogrammed napkins, and some beautiful pearl buttons!

Nora Neeley, who works at Hallmark in Kansas City, gave me this sweet tray and album from their collection to thank me for hosting the banner swap...
and for the same reason, I received this gift from Karla -- how beautiful!! It included banner boards, vintage ephemera, buttons and vintage jewels, precious antique wallpaper (swoon!), and millinery -- all wrapped beautifully with this vintage scarf.

Of course, the best gift of all was the friends themselves...

It was another unforgettable event!
And I think I'm finally finished blogging about it -- thank you for saying you've enjoyed coming along for the ride via my photos and posts!
And, as if I wasn't spoiled enough at Birdsong Two, I arrived home from it to find this set of ornate vintage books, which I won from a favorite blog, Forgotten Bookmarks.
Michael is a used bookstore owner who blogs about the things he finds left in the books -- always something fun!
