If you've been reading my blog for a while, then you know that I adore vintage Christmas stuff!  This was all in one of those grab bags at the thrift store!
I grabbed it for the old bottle brush trees, which I can never seem to resist!  But then I was charmed to get these little primary-colored plastic houses, too!
Look at this wooden one that was also in the bag!
It's funny looking...
and seems even stranger when you look at the label on it!
I've scheduled this post ahead of time as I'm spending the weekend at Operation ReScrap's Craft & Home Decor Consignment Sale -- working!  (I love that I found a "job" that pays me to be at a craft and vintage fair!)
The photo above shows a few crafty and vintage things I'm taking along to consign at the sale. I can't wait to tell you all about it when I get back!
Don't forget: there's still time to sign up for

I love the little vintage nativity! There is something about those bottle brush trees-I love them too! My stepmother once told me a story of visiting the state prison on a high school field trip and they had a gift shop with things made by the prisoners.

Congrats on your win at Green paper! That "souvenier" I think is what a lot of prisons used to do for trade/recreation for inmates. Don't ask me how I know ;-) Same reason Martha Stewart had everyone knitting scarves in her vacation cell. They would teach wood carving, leather tooling, etc. to teach trades and then have a store where the items could be sold. So you have a unique little item ;-). Hope you have a great weekend.

Awesome poke sack!! I just love buying those and then discovering all the little treasures hiding inside. I do the same thing, one item catches my eye and then the rest is all bonus.

Great vintage Christmas finds and how funny that the mission has a state prison tag! Oh my goodness. I hope you are having a wonderful time at your crafty job. Hugs, sweet friend.
