A change of plates

I have had a display of pretty china tea cups on my dining room wall for years now. I finally decided I needed a change.
I do love all my pretty tea cups; some were gifts and many are special for other reasons.  I'm not getting rid of them, just putting them away for a while.
Dennis helped me to put up these plate racks I got for half price the other day at Hobby Lobby.
THEN I was able to spend a very pleasant half hour or so looking through all my wonderful vintage plates and decide which to put up on the racks!
Here's how it all ended up; I also cleared off many of the things I've had on the buffet display all year...
Isn't fun to change it up once in a while? I do not do it often enough!
I loved putting out this pretty vintage tablecloth -- imagine how long it took to do all that embroidery!
I filled one of those Haviland dishes with some tags as information for a craft day; more on that next!

The racks look gorgeous on the dark wall (color is fantastic!) and the plates set it off perfectly!

I like the plate display and how you arranged the shapes. Those square dishes with the sugar bowl are fantastic!!!

Love all the different patterns in your plate collection! I commented to someone just the other day about how I used to change things up more often and I am feeling SO bored with how everything looks around here. Last winter was the big purge, this winter might be the big switch up!

I also love to change things around, I get bored at looking at the same things day in and day out.
Love your plate rack, beautiful way to display such beautiful plates.
I love the tablecloth so much.
Yes, it is nice to change things up with what you already have on hand. You don't have to spend money and yet you feel that things are different. I love using plates for display and your rack is lovely. Have a great weekend. Tammy
Oh I love your plates on the wall and like that wall also did you paint it with the leaves on it? It looks purple?

and old vintage table cloths are the best
I have an awful time changing just one thing, once I get started I can't be stopped, lol. Love that beautiful table cloth and the square china.
