Thrift store finds!

After all the fun shopping Tami and I did last month, I wasn't out much more at the shops in the last week or two.  Not much...but a bit!

If you know me, then you know I don't need any more dishes at my house.  But I love them so much, and when they're antique and perfect and only 25 cents each...I can't pass them up.

I thought the ladies on the rim of this plate were sooo cute.  At first I thought they were Kewpies; then I thought, No, they're flying nuns...but finally I saw the shoes and realized they are Dutch maidens in traditional dress.

I'm a sucker for brown/colored transferware...any kind of transferware except the classic Asian scenes, really.

This is a gorgeous piece of Steubenville with embossed walls, sigh...

I'm trying not to amass a collection of Coors pottery, but it's so hard when it's a piece this size (the yellow urn) and only 75 cents!

These tins, I had to have.  They are the perfect color combo...

and a full set, and they nest perfectly!

I keep seeing these old shredders used to clip paper ephemera on to, so I had to buy these three at 50 cents each...they make me really happy!

Look at the sweet, sweet petit point on this tiny purse; it is empty inside, but once held tiny manicure tools.  It's itty bitty...

as are these tiny charms for 35 each.  All of these wonderful buys were from my favorite estate sale shop, which is a non-profit.

Above, the contents of a grab bag I found at a thrift store.  Do you spy the pretty green woven buttons that ended up in my Jane Austen art?  There was also a ton of sequined trim in the bag.  Ah, the thrill of the hunt.
