Flaky

The weather in Colorado has been very flaky.
As in, snow flakes; here is the scene on my patio early this morning.
Yesterday's grey sky while I was out for a walk.
The snow melt from that morning caused little rushing rivers.
I guess more precipitation is on the way this weekend and early next week along with chilly temperatures.
Sigh.
I made a pretty white cuff bracelet the other night.
Very simple -- just wrap a metal cuff with muslin and glue on a row of pretty white rose trim!
I also glued down the roses on that wreath and got it listed on Etsy.
Yes -- there are a few things in my Etsy shop as of a couple of days ago!
Also, I got a hair cut.  Lots of hairs, actually.
It was sort of a snap decision and, as it was just in time for the snow, I am feeling some regret.
Oh, well.
We spent the morning yesterday at Ben's Senior Breakfast, or Capping Ceremony.  This whole concept was new to me, and it was quite a big to-do.  Ben with his sweet girlfriend, above.  Both are graduating seniors.
Ben looked handsome in his cap and gown and I we are now officially in count-down-to-graduation mode.

Wow, still snowing this time of the year, I'm sure you must be looking forward to Spring.
Congratulations to you and your son on his upcoming graduation.

Ben looks so sweet in his cap and gown! (Don't tell him I said "sweet"!!). Heading over to check out your shop. Somehow I missed that you had re-opened.

Glad I'm not the only one that had a hair-chop. A spontaneous decision on my part while out "browsing". Ever notice in pics with their Moms, boys are always cute lads, on the other hand, in pics with girlfriends, they're good looking and seem so grown-up! Glad he's enjoying this time of his life. Congrats.

My sister, who lives in Colorado Springs, said she was surprised when she got off work to see that it was snowing. She had just finished getting her garden and patio all set up.

I know you are proud and happy for your graduating son

I really like your wreath, and your new haircut is very cute.
'snow' she says in a whisper. there's still a spot of snow on the mountains but am hoping it dies quickly. I'm just getting used to the idea of spring.
The weather has been crazy all over the country. I hope you're about to see the last of the snowfall for his year. A late spring for sure.
Ben and his girlfriend look so cute. This is such an exciting time for all of you.
Love your new short haircut!!
Hi Laurie, I am so glad to be back on my blog. I was hoping Iwould see what I did with that beautiful brooch you sent me long ago. I have worn it also a few times. I love the frame I found and painted too. I have lots of burlap at my house From curtains to table runners to wreaths and other accents. Love working with Burlap. I loved seeing your son and am sorry that you are still getting snow. We are already experiencing summer weather here in the southwest. Thanks for your nice comment my sweet blogging friend
